Our homemakers work in clients’ homes, providing household support, companionship, and assistance with daily living tasks to help maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment.
Tasks include but are not limited to light housekeeping (vacuuming, dusting, mopping, cleaning kitchens and bathrooms), laundry and linen care, meal preparation and kitchen clean-up, organizing living spaces, grocery shopping and running errands, accompaniment to appointments or community activities, companionship and social interaction, monitoring home safety, and completing daily documentation and communication with supervisors. Homemakers do not handle client cash, checks, or monetary transactions.
Applicant requirements:
- Current adult CPR (plus child CPR for those who will be caring for children)
- Current TB clearance
- 18 years or older with the right to work in the US
- Ability to work within different settings and with a variety of people
- Mobile phone
- Access to the internet
- Valid/current email address
- Upon offer, criminal and abuse abstracts
- Valid, current driver’s license if willing to drive for clients
